Was sitting there waiting to get a registration issue taken care of.
As I started vaping away I started getting strange looks (I was trying to hide it as much as possible). But as an officer walked in I just took a normal vape hit off it without trying to hide it. He looks at me nods his head as I exhale a big puff of vapor. He smiles and just walks on by.
But I do have to add I am a vol firefighter for my home town and I know the officer from being in the fire company so that might have had something to do with it LOL.

Also when I First started vaping the first place I tried it was inside of a 7/11 that I always stop at before class. They are owned by a very nice Hindu family. The one guy said to me "Is that a cigarette". After he asked me that I puffed on it a few times to get some vapor going. Looked at him and said "no, its an electronic cigarette" as i pulled the cart off and showed him the atomizer. He laughed, thought it was cool, and has since always said hi to me when I walk in and he asks about the ecig all the time now.

Way to handle the situation dehughey. It is always best to explain to folks and educate them, then trying to hide or even getting defensive. The more people know about the facts the less ignorance in the world.
